The Carbon Footprints of the World

The average person in the u k. comes ans about 13 tons a year. About a quarter of that is the food that they eat. And there's no getting round it, we're going to need to reduce by quite a bit the amount of flying we do. We're going to get good at dematerializing, having less stuff, our stuff last longer and buying second hand. Between all those things, we're expecting the carbon footprint to come right down. And actually the world will reach, we hope, net zero by by 20 50.
