The Moral Issue of Simulation
The ethics of this is kind of mind boggling. Is it okay, for example, for them to suffer? No, well, that looks kind of horrendous. Maybe we obliged to only create the best of all possible simulations so everyone is enormously happy. If we do the second best that we being immoral, I mean, that's the kind of the science fiction side of this.
