Stoicism is a philosophy that originates in ancient athens, and makes its way to rome over the next several centuries. To me, what i love about stoicism is that it's very much philosophy for the world. It wasn't diogenes the cynic, or a buddhist monk, or or or anyone whose pursuit of a philosophy or a set of ideas took them away from the world.
