i started at them like growing and growing apart. At one point, helena says that her body is like rising dogh cause she's just hitting puberty. And then lila used to look, you know, scrawny, but then, as if overnight, she becomes more like womanly. Where did my train of thought start? I'm not sure how much mafia stuff is in this book. In a way, it's nont that that doesn't directly play a huge role in the story. It's just like, everybody in this town's kind of afraid of this rich guy. They're just living different lives.
