What Isn't About Martinsville?
Carol jenkins was murdered in martinsville 54 years ago. The town has been trying to confront its past as well as its prevailing reputation. A maple tree and a memory stone, not the monument the neals designed, were placed outside of city hall in her honor. Carroll's also been commemorated in her home town of rushville. They named the caroll jenkins davis memorial park after her. And luckily, caroll's father, paul, was able to see this outpouring of love and support before his death in 20 19. He left behind a legacy as a devoted, loving father who was ready to get justice for his child.
