Captain Kidd's Adventure Galley in the Red Sea
Captain William Kidd and his crew had been in the Red Sea for eight months. His commission allowed him to hunt for French Navy vessels or English pirate ships. He feared his crew might mutiny if he didn't capture a pry soon. By summer's end, it was clear the adventure galley's expedition into the Red Sea was a failure. But then finally they found a target along the coast of India.
