A CT shouldn't delay you doing a lateral canthotomy in a patient with orbital compartment syndrome. What about for globe rupture? Don't be lulled into a false sense of security if your radiologist doesn't think there's a globe rupture on CT it's still possible so keep your index of suspicion high. The sensitivity was actually not that good and was really variable depending on who was reading the scan as well.
