The Benefits of FFP for Cirrhosis Patients
For the vast majority of people, there's no difference whatsoever on coagulation function. There are some people about one in a hundred where you're actually going to increase their thrombin generation. So we don't always know the balance of the pro and anticoagulant factors. And giving FFP is a blunt tool that will not necessarily reduce the bleeding risk for cirrhosis patients.
