Omicron was a complete game changer when it emerged, because it was so different from other variants and had such different properties. It really pushed the whole covet 19 pandemic into a completely different sort of area that we're now dealing with. The rest of us healthy relatively healthy individuals are going to use vaccines to just try to limit spread.
