What Happened to Townsend's Confession?
Falkingham was sentenced to death for a crime he did not commit. He appealed the conviction, claiming that his confession had been coerced by drugs and police tactics. The supreme court of Illinois upheld townsend's conviction but didn't rule on guilt or innocence. Falkingham: "I think it's ridiculous that there's a very finite definition of a truth serum"
