The Tension Between Ethics and Politics

When we say the common good, I guess the common good of what's the body. Most often it's used in a political context, so in obviously in the ancient Greek philosophers to talk about the city state. Whenever you have a real community, a real communion among different persons, there's going to be some common good uniting them. But with Aristotle, there seems to be a tension between the ethics and the politics.
