The Importance of Compliance for a Complex Intervention
It was particularly impossible to do this as a blinder study for the reasons to manufacture drug. And there is no standard method of determining compliance for this intervention. The oral and gastric preparations are topical. They're not absorbed. So therefore, compliance really has to be done to work out the number of days as a proportion of ventilators' days. But overall, the Compliance for the study, the proportion of ventillators, for both the oral paste and the suspension was 87%, which we submit is a very high level of compliance for this complex intervention.
