Elizabeth Whatter: Are you an abstainer or a moderator? Is one of your favorites? O, my gosh, i love this question. I recognize the abstainer moderator distinction when i was reading one of my favorite writers, the eighteenth century essayist, samuel johnson. So what is an abstainer? What's a moderator? An abstainer is someone like me who is kindof all or nothing. And so they do better when they indulge moderately.
