The Golden Globes are back on NBC after a year of being banished. The publicists around Hollywood didn't like them because they exerted control and made people show up to press conferences when they didn't want to. Some of the publicists that have been critical came out today and supported the Globe Noms. This is a crisis moment for the kinds of awards movies that get nominated. Nobody is going to see these movies in theaters. They want to be able to promote them on a platform.
