What Is the Trinitarian Formula for Baptism?

The baptism of jesus is not the baptism of john. The church has always understood this, i mean always has understood this as being, this is the actual formula. I baptize you in the name of the father and of the son, to the holy spirit. And so which way is it? It means to compare i to the baptism ofjohn. But we have it like justin martyr, every time somebody gives you directions, how do you perform a baptism, they always give us the trinitarian formula. That is how the church as always understood it.
