The History of Cinema
The big attraction was always said to be what they call local topicals. The thing you've got to try and do is to offer people something that's fairly unique to your show. I remember in the 1980s when you go to the cinema the prints were generally terrible because you'd get films they'd be in America first and then a few months later they would come to the UK. That's when you start getting purpose built cinemas. Okay so we ran about well 1910. What kind of films would have been 1910 like German expressionists.
