Cone syrup is a way of sweetening foods, but it's much less sweet than sugar. It has side effects if you eat too much of it. Most people that switch from sugar to your cone syrup just end up using more yacon syrup because they want the sweetness. There was an open letter from 10 prominent physicians to Columbia saying that Columbia should no longer have him working there. The American Medical Association can't really do anything because all the licensing is done at the state level.
