i was 11 years old and discovered baseball cards that spring. i just got instantly hooked on them and never quite grew out of it. Did youplay? Yes, but not well enough to talk about i'm a very bad athlete. I'm not highly competitive. So it was always you. Your interest in baseball was always from the point of view of a fad. He wasn't like most kids. He didn't dream of playing baseball, of having the experience. And he didn't grow out of his childhood obsession. He grew into it.
