The Importance of Politics
Heidegger says that basically what each of us is, is, in a certain sense, the they, the one. So this seems like a philosophic psychology or something, but why politics? I mean, how does it get to politics? Because part of what we seek to be and part of the world that surrounds us, which gives entities their meaning, is that it's public. It's also the case that central always is what we're ourselves for the sake of.
