The Design Rules for the Golden Globe Race
The first golden globe race started in 20 18, but plans for it had been announced as early as 20 15. Don mac intyre was considering letting mat Rutherford use his yawl arcturus to sail round the world on a tourist visa. But when he spoke with don Mac Intyre about whether Arcturus would be able to meet the requirements of the competition, they said no. The rules are so arbitrary that you can be a little nit picky about what's allowed and not allowed - which is just ridiculous. So i'm going to read them here.
