The Disadvantages of Being Underestimated

I think the challenge is when you can't get into rooms and I think there's been maybe two phases of my career. People will tend to allow me to get on with what I'm doing for a little bit longer because like what does she, you know? So it's one of those things where you then carry those kinds of layers of responsibility to yourself and often to others on your shoulders. But I feel like it's made me rise up to a better version of myself in needing to be prepared, needing to be competent and needing to get the job done.
