The Best Fall Color Season in Many Years

When September temperatures start to go down that's a clear sign that the fall colors aren't far behind. If it gets cool and stays cool from then into October, I'm pretty sure we're going to have a good fall season. That's exactly what happened this year here in the southern Appalachians. We didn't reach the peak until October 28. It was like the sixth or 10th coolest fall that we've had. And then it was also very sunny. You combine cool sunny date or cool temperatures and sunny days and you're going to get really bright colors.
