What Did Intelligence With Chinese Characteristics Look Like?
In 19 forty nine, the chinese don't really have a an intelligence agency. And they also don't have diplomats. So what they're doing is essentially doing like a crash, course for diplomats. They reach out to people and try to get information that they need quite creatively. This is different from what the swiss counter intelligencs have been used to. But there's lots of different intelligence networks that are set up in Switzerland. All those bring different information to the chinese. It's quite, quite creative.
