Why I Passed on Bitcoin
Aaron Carroll: My first article on Bitcoin was back in late 2017 after it had that big run up that year. He says he recognized a lot of the useful aspects of Bitcoin and was interested in it. But his concern at the time was, okay, we just had the Bitcoin versus Bitcoin cash split. Carroll: As long as Bitcoin can retain by far the dominant network effect for basically being the hard money of that space, then its scarcity is valid.
