I was starting to form like a foggy impression in my head of how the character relationships went south. Maybe I was just impatient to get to the thing. It's distinct from that feeling that you get when you're re watching or rereading something where you remember everything about what happens and you're like, maybe it'll go different this time. So like it's just a reaction I had to the read.

For our third Do Overdue episode, we return to a book that Andrew wanted to like more than he did, Donna Tartt's debut novel about murder at a small-town college. It went better the second time, thankfully!
