How to Measure the Effectiveness of What You Write

The effectiveness of what you write is pretty easy to gauge. You are being judged by your writing, not the nice things people say or the nasty things people say. We can measure all these metrics with numbers. They're not vanity metrics. It's a responsibility metric. If you're measuring behaviour of people based on how effective your communication is at creating the change you were seeking to create then these numbers are supersignificant. Marketing is not selling. Popularity is important. Influence is important. It makes a difference.
