i wanted to spend at least some piece of this section on what or the new like work structures that companies may be able to offer. Like a four day work week is one of them, but i deffily can think of a few other ones that maybe people can experiment with. Once you start letting people work flexibly, they're going to do the stuff way. I don't know if there actually have been many examples of people allowing their employees to take these really long sabaticles. And so why not use this as a talent attractor to explicitly say, look, we allow this, and we actually encourage to embrace it stuff?
People say that COVID was an accelerator, forcing trends that may have taken decades to develop, to instead take hold in much less time. Remote work was one of those trends. But we're not done yet!
The future of work is constantly evolving and it doesn't just impact whether you can Zoom without pants. :)
In this episode, Cal and Steph discuss the second and third order effects of the remote revolution and what's to come. And in part one of this series, they discuss how this equation impacts the individual and companies. In part 2, they'll talk about new products and services, and macro trends to come.
