The Power of Third Person Narrative

The number one fan mail that I'll get on the partial series is I love Kira so much. That outweighs everything else by a mile. We think that third person narrative has to be flavorless unless you're doing actual dialogue and it doesn't. In fact, if you look at Harry Potter, even the omniscient in Harry Potter has a tone of wit and fun and whimsicalness when she gets into viewpoint.
