"For me, the this issue of coming home, i feel like i'm always coming home. I live so close to my parents in San Francisco," she says. "And if you inhale deeply, the ocean's to our left and and behind us, all over there, you can sort of catch a scent of the sea breeze and kelp and rotting sea life." This is a poem from her book, when living was a labor camp. The poem is titled occupant, blue roof apartments.
