The Importance of Psychedelics
We have this socially constructed or linguistically constructed experience of the world. If we only operate inside that construction for a long period of time, we start to mistake that thing for the real world. Something about the psychedelic experience kind of wipes that slate clean. When I want to describe acid, for example, imagine that your child was never heard of a table and walked in and you find it fascinating.
