The Majesty of Science
I'm interested in your sense of what people think is majestic. I just have a general sense from my talk back haulers that that sense of wonder is slipping through our fingers a little bit, like sand through our hands. Which would be a huge pity because when you think about it, the fact of our own existence is the most astonishing fact. It's such a privilege to be born and to understand why you were ever born in the first place. And although we're going to die, we have the privilege of living and understanding why we live before we die. That's so exciting. Do you reflect more on that as you get older? Not more, just the same.
