Is There a Niche in Consumer Fintech?
The last prediction that we had was whether we would see more consumer fintech focused on specific niches. I think about it more as we're just reaching a stage of financial services where not obviously profitable customer groups are starting to be focused on. These aren't audiences that mainstream banks were interested in. But increasingly, this bespoke service is much more possible than ever before. So my big prediction is that 2023, we'll see innovation around the unhappy paths of fintech.
