Getting Trade Posts Away From the River Early on in the Tournament
A thing I've seen really good players doing in their kind of opening is focusing on getting trade posts away from the river. If you can just do a clean sweep through the river at the end of the game, that's way easier. So if there's a way to focus on kind of getting harder trade posts earlier where it doesn't set you out of position, but then you can quickly come back to the river and then get those last trade posts all along the river, I think that is also useful. It's not full proof and it's not even ultimate, but it's just kind of like a trajectory you could set yourself on at this point.
