The Role of Internationalisation in Education
The international baccalaureate is a key example of what internationalisation looks like. Global citizenship education has really been taken on as a sort of trope that so many now talk about, but again is very differentially engaged with and understood. Another example would be a bilingual curricula, which is increasingly being seen as important. The mobility of students and also members of staff so that you have the mobility of students coming in from elsewhere to be educated in schools. They're a huge source of business income for many parts of the world who are actively sought after by many institutions - especially in the 'global north'
