The Mountain Lion and Its Throat
My son and i were standing at the top of an exterior staircase attached to a house. We could see small animals all wandering through it, but felt like we had to wait for something. A mountain lion appeared on the edge of the clearing - then changed into a large snake. It began slowly making its way through the clearing, killing the small animals. I saw it in to devour a smaller poisonous snake with a hole in its throat. But another kitten was trying to crawl into the forest for safety; I felt like i was rooting for it, hoping for it to survive.
