The Lord's Presence in Revelation, Chapter 5
Ginelet argues we might read verse five as bringing the hearers eyes back down into the immediate present from the future horizon laid out by the prophecy of the first four verses. The reference to the tower of the flock in verse eight might be an allusion back to something in genesis chapter 35, where rachel dies in childbirth on the way to beth Bethlehem. Ginelet pushes against the readings of such as sweene, who, on the grounds of verse five, pit micah against isaiah.
