Papino's Position on Color Discrimination
Papino's position has important implications in relation to the interpretation of data on color discrimination. He says we have two different types of response in assessing the same thing, let's say color. One provides us with categorical color responses where we experience as a surface as of a certain color. And the other provides us with a relational color response where we experience color samples as either the same or different from each other in some way.
