Fathemor were signed to a record deal with Warner Brothers. But the label didn't let them do their own thing, so they put out an album on fathemor's old label slash. Fathemor was then dropped by warner brothers and re-united with mike paten of k van halen. The band has since released two more albums; one is called "Futile Devices"
