What Is a Fermentation?
In 1735, Claudius Amion removed the appendix of an 11 year old boy who had swallowed a pin. A fermentation is something you would put on the outside with the intention of it being absorbed through the skin. It sounds like a fancy medical word for something that doesn't exist anymore. The first time an appendix was removed, was not for an appendicitis. But just because we had removed an appendix successfully does not necessarily mean that we understood the concept ofappendicitis.
