Introduction

According to quantum mechanics, the universe is built out of probabilities. An electron is neither here nor there, but instead has a likelihood of being in multiple locations. Such a state of uncertainty is known as a quantum superposition state. Objects that we can see around us don't show off these properties. Superpositions would be absurd if it wasn't experimentally viable. But despite the evidence, quantum mechanics and superposition have one major flaw. Their implications contradict human intuition.
