The idea is to scatter these around the top of the atmosphere. The big advantage with balloons is you can actually scatter a bunch of them from the same entry vehicle. In a few days, these balloons would be separated by a few thousand kilometers. And so what you end up having is essentially a network of these seismicity detecting balloons. That would be ideal. Whether or not that happens is out of my hands, but scientifically speaking, that would be very valuable.
