That's why it's called anno domini, the year of the lords favor. And that's what god is wanting us to get our hearts around to day as we celebrate christmas. He wants us to be amazed at the manger and mystified by incarnation. But he also wants us to understand that this baby is a warrior and he has come to set the captive free.
