The Origins of the Catocton Individuals
The ancient DNA revolution has made it possible to reliably extract DNA at a genome scale of extremely high quality from human remains. With this new way of combining technologies, they were able to see patterns of where these specific people came from. Their team finds that the Catocton individuals have a connection to Africa that's localized to specific regions.
