Did the Times Get Front Page Treatment?

Catherine: I believe that it was partly because they claim to have dispositive evidencea but in fact, if you really drill down, even their next few sentences after that indicates it's not dis positive evidence. But once the times put it on the front page, it was picked up absolutely everywhere. And as some scientists have said to me, you know, that kind of language is what you usually put in a scientific paper. It sort of points to the question of how much marketing there was in this scientific paper and also decisions about by the new york times.
