The Role of the Competition Bureau in Canada's Competition Law
I'd like to see some swift action and like some form of intervention here, or at least providing some certainty about what the rules are. I'm not sure whether the Competition Bureau has the resources it needs to be able to do that adequately and swiftly. Vass Badner: It could be valuable to pay legislative attention to business behaviors writ large. She pointed to a column she wrote back in December where she argued that Canada's competition laws aren't really adequate for dealing with behavior that's clearly anti-competitive.
