LZ Granderson: The problem is the selective choosing of who to punish based on these cultural reasons. It's one thing if you're like, I think companies get too many tax breaks. And so we should take away tax breaks. But it's quite another to say, I don't like tax breaks, but I'm only going to take them away from this company that's pissed me off for cultural reasons. LZ: That seems to be a huge part of it is just, and that's that hook of we can justify this on pro freedom grounds. He says some far right libertarians were opposed to same-sex marriage because they wanted no government involvement in their lives.
