The Opposition to Affirmative Action in Higher Education

I think what you'll find, if in fact, affirmative action is struck down and universities can't figure out how it is they're going to create diverse environments, that they will start losing out on the best and most talented applicants. So one argument is it's not really necessary to do it this way. You can get the outcome without even asking the question just by looking for qualifications and all this kind of stuff. But do we have to get there this way? I don't know, I know it's kind of a jumble, but that's kind of where I'm at.
