The Different Types of Creative Labor in Hollywood
In the 1970s, there were a lot of women that were writing for film in the very earlier days and the silent era. They didn't get as much work because writers are generally shy people but at the same time getting work gets more work due to social interaction with other workers. The writer's guild was not the easiest place for women until 1971. This was not a big mass killing conspiracy; it just wasn't talked about enough.
