In the early 80s when I had my Commodore 64 you would actually get a magazine and you'd bring come home with the magazine and there'd be like 15 pages of code that you had to manually type in to play this game. Back then coding by hand like hundreds of lines but being like 10 or 11 years old and doing this and having to figure out what went wrong now picture having to go through all that without even a real debugger or a compiler. The ability to set a breakpoint didn't exist so you know like you couldn't set a break point to see oh maybe it's here  or on that path you knowmaybe the value is wrong. You should always go in
