Microsoft found that people who use mainly Microsoft software spend an average of 8.8 hours a week reading emails and 7.5 hours logged into meetings. In all, the average employee spent 77% of the time they were using Microsoft software was spent in meetings, email and chat. Both workers and bosses complain that digital overload is hurting innovation and productivity. Nearly two out of three said that they struggled to find time and energy to do their actual job.
